KeptQR

Terms of Service

The terms, in plain language.

1. The service

KeptQR is provided by Data Boy Design, LLC. During the beta period, features may change as we build; if a change would break something you rely on, we'll warn you before it ships.

2. Acceptable use

No codes or short links pointing to phishing, malware, CSAM or any illegal content, deceptive schemes, or content that violates others' rights. We scan destinations — including re-checks when destinations change — and immediately disable violating codes. This is the sole carve-out to the Code Lifetime Promise, and it exists to protect every customer's codes.

3. Fair use of redirects

Redirects exist for humans scanning codes and clicking links. Abnormal automated traffic — bot floods, use of KeptQR as embedded infrastructure for applications, link farms — may be rate-limited or suspended after review. Genuine human scan volume is never capped, on any plan status, ever.

4. Your content and responsibility

You own what you link to and are responsible for it, including holding the rights to any logos you upload.

5. Accounts and plans

Plan limits are as published on the pricing page. What happens on cancellation, downgrade, or payment failure is governed by the Code Lifetime Promise — which is to say: your codes keep working.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. (Formal legal review comes before paid plans launch.)

7. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. Even then, non-violating codes follow the Promise.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
